Sarah & Chad | Denver, Colorado Portrait Session

While I was in Denver last week I was visiting my friends Sarah and Chad. Sarah and I lived together (along with 9 other girls) our senior year at the University of Minnesota. These two married in July of 2012, so they are nearing their 2 year anniversary quickly! Last year they took a leap and moved to Denver from Minneapolis. I’m so happy I was able to visit them in their new city. I got to see where they live, what they love to do, and where they love to eat (and of course, just spend time with my bestie). While I was visiting I wanted to take a few photos of them in their new home.  We took these at Sloan Lake right after the sun had set on a super windy day – but I’m really happy with what we got in less than 10 minutes! These two are so natural together that you can’t even tell how cold and windy it was. While I was scanning through the images on my camera I told Sarah how cute they are together and she said, “I am so happy I married a guy that knows exactly what to say to make me laugh.”
