I think from the very first email that Janelle sent my way, I knew I would love this sweet couple. Things just kind of clicked into place, and we understood each others’ humor. I am so happy that I now get to call these two, friends. Janelle and Jesse’s wedding took place at Janelle’s home church in West Bend, Iowa. The town is most known for its Grotto of the Redemption. I was secretly hoping that we could take some photos at the Grotto and when Janelle suggested it as a location, I was so excited!
The day was filled with so many meaningful details. Janelle’s sister Allison did an amazing job making the boutonnieres & bouquets and helped with a lot of the planning, Janelle’s veil was first worn by her mom as well as her sister, Her hair piece was made from Jesse’s Grandmother’s wedding dress, and attached to Janelle’s bouquet were the buttons from her grandmother’s wedding dress. All of these thoughtful details joined together to make the day that much more special. Just by looking at these two, you can see how much they are loved by the people surrounding them and I am so happy I was able to capture their sweet story. I loved working with these two and I’m almost sad that the wedding is over (in a good way!).
Janelle and Jesse I hope you enjoy looking through some (more like a ton) of my favorites. Thank you so much for trusting me as your photographer!!
