I am so excited to share these photos today! I don’t exactly remember when I first met Casey, but it had to have been sometime way back in Middle School. We were on the same soccer team for 6 years as well as in band together. And that is actually how she came to meet Spencer. They were both in The University of Nebraska – Lincoln Marching Band. While on a trip to Wisconsin, they hit it off and decided to go to a Packer game together.
I only had met Spencer one time before the wedding, but he is so kind and genuine that I would have thought that I had known him as long as I have known Casey. While photographing Spencer’s details (his shoes, socks, tie, and watch) I mentioned how heavy his wedding ring is. And he replied with one of the sweetest things I have heard at a wedding so far. He said that he decided on such a heavy and thick wedding band because he wanted to be reminded every single day.
Casey and Spencer – Thank you so much for choosing and trusting me to photograph your wedding! Back in High School I never would have thought in a million years I would be a wedding photographer, let alone photographing your wedding! I’m so happy I was there to capture your day. I hope you enjoy looking through my favorites!
Casey you were a gorgeous bride!
Spencer’s dad owns a shoe store in Nebraska, so of course everyone had great shoes for the day!
Though it may have been a little under a million degrees that day, I was loving the great backlighting for the ceremony. And it wasn’t raining, so we can’t complain.
The wedding party went on a boat ride around the lake right after the ceremony! It was the perfect way to celebrate and cool off.
Beautiful!
Congratulations you guys! And guess what, we’ll never forget our anniversaries because we can always remind each other! 😉 Hehehe
Love you!
Erin
Katie! You did such a wonderful job! The pictures are beautiful. 🙂 I was wondering if I talk to you directly or go through Casey if myself or my family wanted to purchase pictures from you.
