Katie and Jonathan’s wedding was the perfect end to my 2017 wedding season! Their wedding day was incredibly beautiful from their kind and loving families to the meaningful details they wove into the day. These two chose to be married in the church that Katie’s parents were married in 30+ years ago, the same church her grandparents were members of for 50 years! In place of a wedding party, Katie and Jonathan chose to have their brothers stand up with them. And the day wouldn’t have been complete without a very important member of the family, Higgins (their 85 pound pup). Higgins even made an appearance at the ceremony, sleeping at the feet of Katie’s brothers as they stood at the alter.
It was incredibly windy and cold, for the last weekend of October, so Maine Street Studios provided the perfect indoor spot for their portraits! After their candle lit ceremony at Elpis Christian Fellowship, we ended the evening at Palmer’s Deli on Ingersoll – the whole space was transformed into a gorgeous cocktail party to celebrate! Enjoy my favorites!
