Kristin & Mike | Des Moines Engagement Photographer

After photographing quite a few winter engagements these past few months, it felt so great to be able to shoot in weather that didn’t require being bundled up from head to toe! Spring is finally here and I think everyone is shouting it from the rooftops.

I met up Mike and Kristin at West End Architectural Salvage to begin their engagement session. I loved wandering the four floors, finding different areas to work with! These two were so great and you can see just how comfortable they are around one another. Especially considering they were being photographed in front of a bunch of shoppers on a busy Saturday afternoon. 😉

After West End, we went over to Water Works Park to hang out in the sunshine for awhile. By the end of the session I barely had to direct these two. They were so great at making each other laugh, it made my job easy and I truly enjoyed my afternoon with them! Mike and Kristin – I can’t wait for your wedding this October!
