Rachel & Jon | Des Moines Engagement Photographer

I am so excited to share a few favorites from Rachel and Jon’s engagement session! These two were incredibly easy to photograph and I had so much fun spending the afternoon with them! We started out at the World Food Prize building getting in some great views of downtown and including the last leaves before fall came to an end. We finished the session off at Grey’s lake where the sun chose to come out for a few minutes before disappearing for the day.

I loved seeing how Jon’s quite, gentle nature balances out Rachel’s more outgoing, bubbly personality. And could instantly tell how great these two fit together. Jon proposed last year at Christmas and in just 12 short days these two will be Mr. and Mrs.! I am so excited to photograph their first day as husband and wife, crossing my fingers the snow sticks around! 😉
